HOW DOES YOUR STORAGE WORK?


Our storage is simple. On your end – you book, pack, pay and sit back. On our end – we collect the boxes then store them by unique bar code reference.

When you want your belongings back you just arrange the delivery date and we bring them right to your door. It really couldn’t be easier.

HOW LONG CAN I STORE FOR?


You can store your boxes for as long as you want!

There is no limit to how long you can leave your items with us. There is a minimum of 3 months storage.

WHAT IF I NEED TO STORE FOR LESS THAN THE MINIMUM STORAGE?


Our minimum non-refundable storage charge is 3 months, which is included in your upfront cost. We can return within these 3 months if you need your stuff sooner. Simply contact us to arrange delivery!

CAN I GET SOMETHING FROM MY BOX?


Generally – no.

However, if you have accidentally stored something important, such as a birth certificate for example, we will try to be as accommodating as possible.

We will need a few things from you before we can do this and there will be a charge for retrieval and delivery of these items.

CAN I STORE PRE-PACKED ITEMS?


Unfortunately not.

We cannot guarantee the safety of your items if they are not stored properly. Our boxes are super durable and FREE when you store with us.

If you have stuff already stored in bags and boxes you can however place these within our supplied boxes. You will need to make sure that no prohibited items are contained and that the items inside are correctly packed. Also make sure they fit properly!

CAN I STORE LARGE ITEMS?


That depends on the item! Send us message and we will help you get a quote.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY BOXES ARE OVERWEIGHT?

Our box weight limit is 23kg.

While it is always better to get an accurate professional weight, if you are in a pinch we have a tip for you.

If you have weighing scales at home you can use the same method as you would with holiday luggage. Stand on the scales, weigh yourself and take note of the number, then stand on the scales again this time holding the box. Now subtract your weight from the number with you holding the box and ta-da! You now know the approx weight of your box!

We cannot be held liable if you choose to use this method so make sure you check your scales work first.

We can and do weigh your boxes for you, but we will have to repackage and charge you for any over weight boxes for various safety and liability reasons.

WILL MY BOX GET MISPLACED?


We have over 26 years of expertise in the field of document storage and management with 2 large and secure warehouses, so you can be confident we know how to store and keep track of boxes.

WILL YOU CARRY THE BOXES?


We will help you get those pesky boxes from the front of your house into the van!

We aren’t movers however so we will not come into your premises, so please have the boxes ready outside for your appointment time.

WHAT TO DO WITH THE LEFT OVER BOXES?


We are big on recycling so if you can reuse them we encourage you to do so! Our boxes are sturdy and durable so keep them dry and they will last a long, long time.

HOW DO I ORDER MORE EMPTY BOXES?

Just let us know! If you are going to need more boxes than you originally planned then simply order more storage online.

If you want multiple orders picked up at the same time let us know when booking your full box collection that you will be doing so. You may need to mention all your order numbers.

If we have arranged one order of 3 boxes to be picked up we will only be picking up one order of 3 boxes – no more no less.

CAN I STAGGER FULL BOX COLLECTION FOR DIFFERENT TIMES?


No. Once your full box collection has been booked we will be collecting all the boxes.

You can however book separate box storage and those boxes can be picked up a separate time, but you cannot split up a single order. Please make sure that you do not get confused, if we have arranged 3 boxes to be picked up we will only be picking up 3 boxes – no more no less. We cannot guarantee safety of your items if you withhold boxes.

WHAT IF I NEED MY BOXES BACK BEFORE MY STORAGE TIME FINISHES?


No problem! You can retrieve your items whenever you want. Just book your box return delivery with us.

If you book your return delivery BEFORE the next months payment has been taken you will not be charged for the next month. Payment is taken at the same time each month and once it has been taken, you have your storage for that month and is non refundable.
 
Please be aware you will need to give us 3 days notice for the delivery. If you need a speedier delivery for any reason, message us and we will do what we can to help, this may incur a charge.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY PRE-PAID STORAGE TIME?


After your first 3 months, which you will have already paid in full up front, then an automatic charge will be taken each month until you cancel.

CAN I STORE ONE BOX WITH YOU NOW AND ADD MORE LATER?


Of course! You can order boxes as and when you need them. Please keep note of all your order numbers.

HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF MY BOXES?


We use a trusted courier to collect your boxes and get them safely to us. We then take note of your boxes and after making sure all is well, we index and store your boxes. Safe and sound until you want them back. You will receive a confirmation email.

HOW DO YOU KEEP THE STORAGE AFFORDABLE?


We cut all the nonsense out of our operation. We don’t have large mark-ups for our services like some other Self Storage companies out there. You only pay for the area you use. Lower price doesn’t mean lower quality service… At least not with us!

DO YOU LOOK IN MY BOXES?


Generally, no. But…

There are times we may need to go into your boxes. This usually only happens when something has been improperly packed or if there is something prohibited packed.
 
Please make sure to pack your items correctly. We are NOT responsible for items that arrive to us broken due to being incorrectly packed. We may also need to remove broken items if they seem to be hazardous. We have a guide for packing

There may be a charge if you do not correctly pack and it leads to problems in the warehouse.
 
Please check prohibited items

to make sure you do NOT pack any of these. If we suspect one of these items has been packed we will have to remove and repack your belongings. There will be a charge for this and your items may be held.

If you pack something illegal your belongings will be held and authorities will be contacted.
