We (Business Storage Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 07575852, trading as iSelfStor) seek to safeguard your personal information, and to be compliant with applicable legislation.  This is primarily found in the Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Business Storage Solutions Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner under the registration number Z2696119.

We act as a data controller for information entered by customers who have signed up to our services.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Stripe processes your payment information and informs us when your payment has been accepted.  Stripe’s Privacy Policy can be found at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Additionally we use your Personal Information to:

  • Communicate with you;
  • Secure the Site against hacking and suspicious activity;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We may use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk, hacking activity and fraud (in particular your IP address or your email address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). Stripe may also use your Personal Information to help protect against fraud.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share your Personal Information with third parties to help us provide you with our services. For example, we use third party email and marketing providers who are based in Europe.
